When “fine”
isn’t cutting it

You hold everything together—at home, at work, in your relationships. Lately, that balance hasn’t felt right.

This is a space to uncover what’s been missing and put yourself back in the picture.

It’s okay to want more.

I work with capable, thoughtful people managing the demands of careers, family, and everything in between. From the outside, everything appears in place. Inside, though, things aren’t lining up the way you’d like.

In our sessions, we untangle what’s been building and discover new ways to move forward.

Here at Flax Therapy, we’ll work through it together.

Some of the clients I most often work with are:

Young Adults & College Students

Whether you’re in college, navigating your 20s, or stepping into adulthood, this chapter can feel uncertain and full of possibility. Here, we’ll sort through relationships, self-discovery, and next steps— with space to focus on what’s important to you right now.

Moms In the Middle Of It All

You carry so much—for your family, your work, and everyone around you. At Flax Therapy, we’ll make space for your needs, whether you’re parenting school-aged kids, supporting teens, or reconnecting with the parts of yourself that sometimes get lost in the role of “mom.”

Professionals & High-Achievers

Your calendar may be full and your life may look put-together—but inside, you may be navigating burnout, overthinking, or the constant pressure to succeed. Our work offers a pause to reset, lower stress, and reconnect with goals that feel meaningful to you.

Specialties

Support for the challenges you’re facing—like anxiety, burnout, relationships, and life transitions.

Anxiety

Anxiety

Overthinking, racing thoughts, perfectionism, procrastination, people-pleasing, irritability—anxiety can show up in subtle but relentless ways. Even when life looks fine on the outside, it might feel like something’s always on the verge of going wrong. You may feel it physically too: tension, fatigue, trouble sleeping, or the sense that your mind never truly shuts off. Therapy offers space to unpack what’s beneath the surface—and help you feel more grounded and in control.

Life Transitions

Life Transitions

Big life changes—planned or unexpected—can bring a mix of excitement, uncertainty, and stress. You might be starting a new job, going back to school, or navigating a breakup, a move, or a new role as a parent. Transitions like these can stir up questions about who you are—and what comes next. Therapy offers space to process what’s changing and adjust to what’s unfolding—so you can move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Burnout & Stress

Burnout & Stress

When you're constantly pushing through—but underneath, you're depleted, irritable, or running on fumes. Burnout can show up as exhaustion, resentment, or a sense that you're never doing enough, no matter how hard you try. In therapy, we’ll unpack what’s driving the stress and help you create space to feel more present, capable, and in control again.

Relationship Dynamics

Relationship Dynamics

Relationships shape how we experience the world—whether with a partner, parent, friend, or colleague. When tensions build, roles shift, or communication breaks down, it can leave you feeling stuck or unsure. Therapy offers space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface, strengthen communication, and better understand your own patterns in how you relate to others.

College Counseling

College Counseling

College can bring excitement, pressure, and plenty of stress in between. You might be navigating academic demands, social dynamics, or uncertainty about your major, your future, and your life. Keeping up with classes, deadlines, friendships, and expectations can start to feel like too much. Therapy offers a steady space to process what’s going on—so you can feel more supported, grounded, and ready to navigate college life.

Young Adult

Young Adult

Your twenties can feel like a mix of freedom and pressure—figuring out your career, navigating relationships, and trying to answer questions like, What am I doing with my life? Even when things seem on track, it’s common to feel uncertain, disconnected, or stuck in comparison. Therapy offers space to sort through what you’re feeling and build a life that feels more like your own.

High-Achieving Professional

High-Achieving Professional

From the outside, you’re capable, reliable, and put-together. Still, the effort it takes to keep everything running smoothly—and succeed on so many fronts—can come with a hidden cost. You might be checking every box: meeting deadlines, excelling at work, showing up for others—while internally managing burnout, overthinking, or the constant pressure to perform. Therapy offers a space to step back, untangle the expectations, and reconnect with your own goals—not just the ones others have for you.

Motherhood & Identity

Motherhood & Identity

You carry a lot—for your kids, your work, and everyone around you. In the midst of all that care, it’s easy to lose sight of your own needs. Whether you’re raising school-aged children, adjusting to life with a newborn, or rediscovering yourself beyond the role of “mom,” therapy is a space to focus on you. Together, we’ll sort through the pressure, expectations, and identity shifts that come with motherhood—so you can reconnect with yourself and feel more present in your life.

Self-Confidence & Doubt

Self-Confidence & Doubt

It’s not always easy to trust yourself—even when everything looks fine on the outside. You might overthink decisions, hold back in conversations, or feel like you’re falling short, even when you’re checking every box. This kind of self-doubt can show up as imposter syndrome, perfectionism (striving to get everything just right to avoid criticism), or a harsh inner critic that’s hard to quiet. With support, you can stop second-guessing yourself and feel more confident in your direction.

Identity & Self-Discovery

Identity & Self-Discovery

Transitions like becoming a parent, shifting careers, or ending a relationship can prompt you to reevaluate who you are and what matters most. You might find yourself asking: Am I still heading in the right direction? Therapy offers space to reflect, reconnect with what matters, and move forward with a deeper sense of clarity and self-understanding.

About Flax Therapy

I started Flax Therapy with the belief that lasting change begins when you have the time and space to slow down—so you can make sense of what’s been weighing on you and move forward in a way that feels more like yourself.

Many of my clients keep everything running in their careers, relationships, and daily lives. They push through and show up for others, but without space to pause, it becomes harder to know how they’re really doing.

At Flax Therapy, I offer a place to think things through collaboratively and take a closer look at what’s been building—so what’s been beneath the surface can finally be worked through together, bringing relief and ease.
